This is the story of a writer who had too much time on his hands, too many words already written, and too many people beating down his door to pay him for his work.
That’s a lie.
I probably couldn’t even say that with a straight face.
Truth is, I have quite a few stories in the works and more ideas than time. I’ve spent the last few weeks in search of better climes. That problem solved I’ll spend the next couple weeks packing, moving, then unpacking. And not a moment too soon, as I’ll be hosting a Judgment Day Party May 21st. (Just read this.)
But I digress…
What all of this means for you is that this site has been a little sparse of late. I have some more tasting notes in the works, and a few snapshots of short stories that I’ll be sending out for publication, but these things all take time to perfect that I won’t have for several weeks.
In the meantime, this week (Friday, May 6, to be exact) I’ll have a quikie for ya’ll. That’s right, a guest-blog-post-thing from a buddy of mine, Caleb J. Ross, on his Stranger Will Tour for Strange.
No no no, it’s cool. Trust me.
Check it out over at his site. Then check back here Friday and see what’s going down, maybe jump in on the discussion.
As for me, as the many things on the home front (eventually) wind down, I hope to be back in the saddle here by mid-June. Until then, tune in to my tumblr for a quick and painless dose of things I think are cool, and maybe pick up a copy of Caleb J. Ross’s book, Stranger Will.
